Typical anchovi sauce from the sunny South of France, the perfect spread for your aperitive!
Anchoyade is a typical sauce from the sunny south of France. Its name reveals its main component: anchovies, mixed with olive oil. The traditional recipe for this Mediterranean sauce and its artisanal production result in a very high-quality product.
Producer: The family business Azais-Polito from Sète is now renowned and recognized for its 100% natural production. Since its beginnings in the early 1960s, the brand "Azais Polito" has been offering fish specialties and has become a guarantee of quality over time. Today, the artisanal cannery is the oldest of its kind in the city of Sète, the largest fishing port on the Mediterranean, where it was founded in 1963.
Serving suggestion: The anchovy paste can be enjoyed cold at any time, for example, on small bread rolls as an appetizer. It can also be heated and used as a seasoning, for dishes such as spaghetti, fish dishes, seafood, vegetable platters, or hard-boiled eggs.
