Not all olive oils are created equal, and if you're a fan of spicy, hearty cooking, Les Oleïades flavoured oils will give you great pleasure. Les Oïliades is a brand of Herbarom, a producer of plant extracts and distillates based in Aouste-sur-Sye in the Drôme valley. Using a process patented in the penultimate century, additive-free extra virgin olive oil is enriched with aromas by maceration of aromatic plants and fresh spices. Six different flavoured oils are produced: Espelette chilli, Herbes de Provence, Basil, Lemon - Ginger, Pink berries, Garlic.
Tasting notes:
Basil oil is the perfect accompaniment to tomatoes with mozzarella and goat's cheese salads, summer soups and all types of pasta. It's also perfect for making the famous “pistou”. Obtained using a modern extraction process (patented), this product contains no additives.
