Rich, voluminous, fresh, floral notes, yellow fruits; with fish with sauce.
Domaine Faury Condrieu Le Mornieux 2023 is a white wine from the Rhône Valley, made from the region's emblematic grape variety, Viognier. This wine is distinguished by its aromatic richness and complexity, characteristic of the great Condrieu wines.
This Condrieu has a brilliant pale yellow colour with green highlights, revealing its youth and freshness.
On the nose, it develops an intense bouquet dominated by yellow stone fruits such as apricot and peach, enriched by delicate floral notes such as violet and acacia flowers.
On the palate, the wine is velvety and unctuous, with a fine fullness. The subtle minerality provided by the granite soils of the terroir gives structure and finesse to the wine. The expressive flavours of yellow-fleshed fruit are mixed with hints of sweet spices and honey for a complex, well-balanced finish.
Food and wine pairings
This wine goes perfectly with refined dishes such as :
- Poultry (especially Bresse poultry in white sauce)
- Noble fish and shellfish, such as pan-fried scallops
- Goat's cheese, fresh or matured
- Party buffets
