Domaine Faury - Côte-Rôtie ‘Reviniscence’ 2019
Domaine Faury, run by Lionel Faury in Chavanay, is renowned for its authentic, elegant wines. The 2019 “Reviniscence” cuvée is a pure Syrah from vines grown on micaschist soils, benefiting from respectful vinification and ageing in oak barrels.
Tasting notes
- Colour : Deep ruby red, brilliant.
- Nose: Intense aromas of fresh red fruit such as raspberry and cherry, with floral notes of violet and a hint of spice.
- Palate: Supple on the palate, with fine, mellow tannins, lovely freshness and a long, elegant finish with flavours of liquorice and mocha.
Ageing
The wine is aged in oak barrels, allowing the wood to blend in harmoniously and giving a pure expression of the terroir.
