Terre d'Abel represents the selection of the finest terroirs planted by our great-grandfather Abel.

In the 2022 vintage, Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre express the very best of these exceptional plots. The wine is rich and warm, with smooth, well-integrated, and long-lasting tannins.

Winemaker and vineyard: The estate is located in the Châteauneuf du Pape Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée area. The black (Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah...) and white (Grenache, Clairette, Roussanne...) grape varieties have been planted in perfect harmony with the soils of the Domaine. The average age of the vines is 50 years for the Châteauneuf-du-Pape and 40 years for the Côtes du Rhône. The wines of the Domaine have great complexity thanks to the blend of these different grape varieties. The health of the soil and the vine stocks is the major concern of the winegrower. All these efforts allow us to have grapes from a balanced vineyard, anchored in a healthy soil. The Domaine's wines are certified organic.

Terre d'Abel is special cuvee from a selection of the best vineyards planted by my great-greatgrandfather Abel. Thanks to the long-established winegrowing knowledge in our family, these 90-yearold vines show the true expression of their terroir

Tasting: Powerful aroma of cherry. Tannic structure marked with finesse. Finished candied cherry and bitter cocoa.

Alistair Cooper MW, Jancis Robinson: 15.5/20 "Tasted blind. Really ripe and huge tannin extraction - a monstrously big wine! Dark fruit and heavy extracted tannins, chewy and ripe dark smoky notes. Hedonistic. Drink 2023 - 2030"

Service: Red meats, games. Big wine for ageing. In order to appreciate all the aromatic power of this wine, open the bottle and put it in a carafe 2 hours before the tasting. Serve at 18°C.
