The parcel is put together personally by Louis-Pierre Laroche, wine merchant in Markt Piesting and on the road to winemakers for over 20 years. Depending on your choice you set off on a journey of up to twelve months.

How the prices come about
The monthly payment spreads the total amount over the duration of the journey. Whoever pays in one go pays less: 50 EUR for the Trilogy and the Quartet, 200 EUR for the Panorama, 250 EUR for the complete Grand Tour. The voucher for the French Heuriger stays the same, whichever way you pay.
Ordering a journey as a package is also 9 EUR cheaper than booking its stages one after another. The corkscrew by Coutale is in the first parcel of every journey.

The idea
What is the Grand Tour?
Anyone who enjoys wine faces a wall of bottles online with little to go by. We did not want to solve that with a simple wine parcel, but with a journey through France that comes to your home.
The choice of wines mattered to us. Louis-Pierre picked every single one with care. We tasted them together over two evenings in Markt Piesting, with wine academic Alexander C. Schwarz at the table. That is also where the texts came about that later went into the booklet.
What sets the Grand Tour apart from a wine parcel are the delicacies from the house of Laroche and the character of a journey: you set off on a route, stage by stage, from the Loire to Alsace.
That became the Grand Tour, in three travel packages. The first stage leads to the Loire and can be ordered on its own.
