Domaine Faury - Saint-Joseph ‘Hedonism’ 2016

Domaine Faury, run by Lionel Faury in Chavanay, is renowned for its authentic, elegant wines. The 2016 “Hedonism” is a pure Syrah from vines grown on granite soils, respectfully vinified and aged in oak barrels.

Tasting notes

    - Colour : Bright garnet, limpid.

    - Nose: Intense aromas of black fruit (blackcurrant, blackberry) and cherries in brandy, developing spicy notes with age.

    - Palate: Supple attack, fine, mellow tannins, long, elegant finish.

Ageing

The wine is aged in oak barrels, allowing the wood to blend in harmoniously and giving a pure expression of the terroir.

Cellaring potential

Drink now or cellar for up to 15 years to appreciate its development.

This wine goes perfectly with grilled red meats, dishes in sauce, mature cheeses and cold meats.
