A true jewel polished by the incessant flows of the Garonne, the soil of Saint-Julien has acquired its nobility over the centuries. Tasting: Of a medium to deep garnet-purple color, the 2017 Léoville Poyferré requires a little patience to reveal pretty aromas of violets, Black Forest cake and blueberry preserves with hints of raspberry leaves, roses, cigar box and fragrant earth.
