Production & ageing
This champagne is made from grand cru grapes harvested by hand in Mailly-Champagne. The wines are vinified in old oak barrels for eight months, without stirring, to preserve their freshness. After bottling, they are aged for at least four years in corked cellars, developing complex aromas and great depth.
Nose and palate
- Colour: Golden, with light green and slightly salmon highlights.
- Nose: Open, dominated by aromas of brioche, bread crust, dried fruit (hazelnut, toasted almond), honey and gingerbread.
- Palate: Fresh and lively on the attack, with pronounced toasty notes. The finish is persistent, with a creamy but taut texture
