Origin and background

This traditional mustard is made from carefully selected mustard seeds and combined with quality olive oil and PDO Espelette chilli pepper, the emblematic spice of the Basque Country. The combination of these traditional ingredients from the south-west gives this condiment an original flavour, balanced between mild spiciness and fruity richness. Savor & Sens has created a product that is both authentic and gourmet.

A spicy but mild attack, carried by the Espelette chilli pepper which adds aromatic warmth without aggressiveness. The mustard is round and well-balanced, with the olive oil adding smoothness and fruity complexity. The finish lingers, with a pleasant contrast between the strength of the chilli and the sweetness of the mustard.

Suggested pairings

Ideal for seasoning grilled or roasted white meats, it goes perfectly with chicken, pork or lamb. Excellent with cold meats and terrines, this mustard will also subtly enhance your vinaigrettes, cold sauces and marinades.
