Château Corbin Michotte 2015, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru
(€53.20 L)
Gourmet, articulate, civilised fruit, already delicious, enlivened by a very delicate floral touch.
Winemaker and Vineyard: Planted in a single stretch, the 13 hectares of Corbin's vineyard are located in the northwest of the Saint-Émilion appellation, very close to Pomerol. They include two types of soils:
Ancient sands on a subsoil of ferruginous clay around the castle that give the wine its delicacy and finesse
Clays in the Pomerol part of the estate that give it its richness The duality of its terroir allows Corbin to produce wines of great complexity and profound elegance.
Tasting: In a vintage marked by tannicity, it caresses the mucous membranes! Gourmet fruit, articulated, civilized, already delicious, animated by a very delicate floral touch.
Service: Serve at room temperature (16-18°C) to accompany black puddings with chestnuts.
