The soil is clay-limestone on molasse from Fronsac. The average age of the vineyard is 40 years. The terroir of Château Bréhat is in the Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. The 5-hectare plot is adjacent to the St Emilion appellation. The soil is clay-loamy over a limestone subsoil, facing south at the foot of the slopes. The average age of the vines is 30 years.
