Patrick Javillier, Meursault "Les Clousots" 2022
(€117.20 L)
pleasant wine with a nice aromatic variety, round on the palate
Patrick Javillier's wines are fine, rich and well-balanced with a great freshness
Winemaker and winery: In 1945, after returning from the war, Raymond Javillier took over the parcels of land totalling 2 hectares, which had already belonged to the family for a long time. 1974 was a decisive year in the history of the estate: Patrick, Raymond's son, took over the management of the estate and expanded it until the early 1990s. Patrick's daughter, Marion, has been working at the winery since 2005; her sister's husband, Pierre Emmanuel, has also been working there since 2011.
Tasting: Fine on the nose with fruity notes. It is pleasant and elegant and has a wonderful variety of flavours. Beautifully round on the palate with plenty of freshness and citrus fruit flavours. It is a very pleasant, deep, balanced and long-lasting wine that is not lacking in finesse and freshness. A great white wine with long ageing potential!
Food recommendation: Perfect with fish and shellfish, serve at 11/13°C
