fine, elegant and with a certain power!
Patrick Javillier's wines are fine, rich and well-balanced with a great freshness
Winemaker and winery: In 1945, after returning from the war, Raymond Javillier took over the parcels of land totalling 2 hectares, which had already belonged to the family for a long time. 1974 was a decisive year in the history of the estate: Patrick, Raymond's son, took over the management of the estate and expanded it until the early 1990s. Patrick's daughter, Marion, has been working at the winery since 2005; her sister's husband, Pierre Emmanuel, has also been working there since 2011.
Tasting: The Puligny-Montrachet is an elegant wine with great aromatic complexity and purity. The wine combines grace with a clearly defined character and remarkable concentration. Its bouquet combines hawthorn, hazelnut, amber, lemongrass and apple. Milky and mineral flavours also emerge. A pleasant wine with a lovely freshness!
Food pairing: Perfect with fine fish or shellfish; serve as an aperitif at 11/13°C.
