Domaine Arnoux Père et Fils - Savigny-lès-Beaune ‘Les Picotins’ 2022
About the estate
Domaine Arnoux Père et Fils, based in Chorey-lès-Beaune, is a family estate run by Pascal Arnoux since 2008. With 22 hectares of property in the Côte de Beaune's most emblematic appellations, the estate makes it a point of honour to make the most of Burgundy's climates through sustainable viticulture and meticulous vinification.
Tasting
Pale golden yellow in colour, slightly shiny with emerald highlights.
The nose is seductive in its purity and elegance: white flowers, lemon zest, ripe pear and a subtle hint of brioche.
On the palate, the attack is straightforward, followed by a body that is both tender and structured. The barrel ageing adds volume, a touch of toast and a long finish.
The whole is balanced by a lively, mineral acidity that lengthens the finish with distinction.
Food and wine pairings
This wine is an ideal accompaniment to
- fish in sauce (monkfish with beurre blanc, trout with almonds)
- seafood (scallops, warm oysters)
- creamy poultry or vegetarian dishes with mushrooms
- young goat's cheese or Comté cheese
