A remarkable Pinot Noir from the heart of Burgundy – a wine full of character with floral notes.

Winery:
Domaine Michel Noëllat is located in the Côte de Nuits, specifically in Vosne-Romanée, and spans 23.5 hectares. It is among the most prestigious wineries in Burgundy, cultivating renowned appellations such as Morey-Saint-Denis, Vosne-Romanée, and Nuits-Saint-Georges, including outstanding Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards like Echezeaux and Clos de Vougeot. Established in the 19th century by Félix Noëllat, the estate has remained in family hands ever since. Today, Sébastien and Sophie Noëllat manage the winery, skillfully balancing traditional, sustainable viticulture with modern winemaking techniques, as reflected in their state-of-the-art winery built in 2009.

Terroir:
The vineyards of Morey-Saint-Denis are defined by their clay-limestone soils, composed of limestone, marl, sand, red silt, and gravel. The 1-hectare plot is situated at an elevation of 250 to 360 meters with an east-southeast exposure, ensuring optimal sunlight and giving the wine its fine structure and mineral elegance.

Tasting Notes:
This ruby-red Pinot Noir reveals an exquisite floral bouquet, where peony and rose form the aromatic core, lending the wine a distinct elegance. On the palate, refined tannins emerge, providing depth, structure, and a long, characterful finish.

Food Pairing:
Perfectly complements game dishes, capon, and aged cheeses.
