Colour: Deep, brilliant ruby red with purple highlights.
Nose: Intense, clean and complex. Dominant aromas of ripe black fruit (blackcurrant, blackberry), fresh cherry, accompanied by floral notes (violet), sweet spices, graphite and elegant oak (vanilla, light toast).
Palate: Silky, precise attack. Firm but perfectly ripe tannins, with an elegant, racy texture. The mid-palate is full and juicy, revealing a remarkable balance between power and freshness. The finish is long and delicious, with a return to black fruit and mellow oak notes.

Ideal with grilled or roasted red meats (rib steak, rib of beef, duck breast), game birds or game (pheasant, venison), and roast lamb (shoulder or rack).
