Very feminine, silky, round, with notes of red fruits and sweet spices
Winemaker and winery: In 1991, Hubert Rouy acquired the outstanding Château Escot, a vineyard dating back to the 18th century. With his son Bruno, they produce Bordeaux wines whose quality is recognised both nationally and internationally. In 2019, the estate was acquired by investors from the Czech Republic with the aim of reviving this "sleeping beauty".
Tasting: This wine is fruity and fresh with floral notes and very pleasant on the palate. 2018 was a good vintage with optimal ripeness of the grapes, good weather conditions during the harvest, yielding excellent red wines throughout the Bordelais.
Service: Drink young, best with game, beef or poultry.
