Producer: This estate has been run by six generations of dedicated winemakers since 1864, all sharing the same heartfelt commitment to preserving the ancestral agricultural heritage of this small region in northern Catalonia and making the most of its naturally gifted terroir.
In 1989, Pierre and Marie-Claude Fontaneil founded Domaine Fontanel, the result of uniting two winemaking families. In 2017, Elodie and Matthieu Collet took over the estate, with Pierre continuing to support them.
Elodie brings over 10 years of experience in sensory analysis, a background that contributes to the production of wines with a finely tuned and expressive flavour profile.
