Crème de Pêche de Vigne Jacoulot
Crème de Pêche de Vigne Jacoulot is a traditional liqueur made from vine peaches, a wild fruit typical of Burgundy. These peaches, which are smaller than the cultivated varieties, are renowned for their intense aromas and rich flavour.
Production
After careful harvesting, the vine peaches are macerated in super-fine alcohol for around 60 days. This maceration extracts the fruit's natural flavours, amber colour and sweetness. The mixture is then filtered and sweetened to produce a balanced, aromatic liqueur.
Tasting
- Colour: Light amber with golden highlights.
- Nose: Fresh, fruity aromas of ripe peach, with subtle floral notes.
- Palate: Smooth and velvety, offering an explosion of fruity flavours balanced by a light acidity.
- Finish: Long and persistent, with a natural sweetness.
Serving suggestions
Jacoulot Crème de Pêche de Vigne can be enjoyed in a variety of ways:
- Pure, chilled, as an aperitif or digestif.
- In cocktails, for example, by adding 1.5 cl of Crème de Pêche de Vigne to 1.5 cl of Prunelle de Bourgogne, accompanied by a Crémant.
- In cooking, to deglaze a sauce or flavour a dessert, such as a fruit salad or crème brûlée.
