Crème de Mûre Jacoulot
Crème de Mûre Jacoulot is an artisanal liqueur made from wild blackberries harvested when fully ripe in the forests of the Burgundy region. Founded in 1891 in Romanèche-Thorins, Jacoulot has been perpetuating its family tradition since the 1950s, producing high-quality fruit creams and liqueurs.
Production
The blackberries are macerated in neutral grape alcohol for several weeks. Once the infusion has reached the ideal expression of the fruit, the fruit solids are pressed and mixed with the infusion. This mixture is then sweetened with beet sugar to bring balance, sweetness and texture to the liqueur.
