Appellation: Lirac (right bank of the Rhône, Vaucluse) - AOC since 1945, terroirs of limestone, red clay, sand and pebbles

Vintage: 2016

Ownership: Family estate converted to organic farming (ECOCERT) in 2010, these 7-8 hectare plots are managed according to biodynamic principles, harvested by hand and vinified using indigenous yeasts

Tasting

Colour: Deep ruby red with purplish tints, dense and luminous

Nose: Generous aromas of ripe red and black fruit (candied plum, cherry, blueberry), with sweet spices, herbaceous notes (lavender, mint) and hints of cocoa

Palate: Full attack, rich tannic structure, balance between freshness and depth. Flavours of stewed fruit, ground coffee, fresh almonds and spices. Harmonious, long, structured finish
