Fruity, young freshness, fine sweetness, fine bubbles, refreshing; with pastries.
The nose explodes with all the aromas of Muscat petits grains!
A naturally sweet, effervescent wine, our Clairette de Die is light, expressive and crisp with fruit, making it perfect for all desserts (nut or fruit tarts, clafoutis...) and delighting parties and cocktails with its fine, delicate bubbles as an aperitif!
Vineyard and winemaker: On the family estate in Vercheny in the Drôme, Luc Faure perpetuates the know-how of six generations of winemakers and cultivates the originality of this naturally sparkling wine known since Roman times: hand-picked grapes, slow fermentation of sugar and grapes in the bottle... Clairette de Die is made using the ancestral Dioise method, which distinguishes it from Spumante d'Asti, on the other side of the Alps in Piedmont, which uses a traditional method. Clairette de Die has only 8% alcohol, compared with a minimum of 11% for Spumante.
Tasting notes: A light, expressive Clairette de Die with crunchy fruit (Muscat grapes) to tempt all desserts and delight parties and aperitifs! Fruit and cheese kebabs, prunes with bacon...
