Winemaker and vineyard: The Sinard family cultivates the winery for many generations. Their focus area is the prestigious appellation of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, but they produce fine Côte du Rhône too, as for instance this "Village", the Tamardière. They have strict quality criteria in the vineyards (no chemical fertilizer) and during the wine production. They are "independent winemakers", exercise rational agriculture, manual harvest, slow fermentation and have a long wine maturation – all these measures produce unique wines that reflect the winemaker’s character and soul.
Tasting: This wine originates from a pebble covered garrigue (scrubland). The high-grade terroir and the expertise developed in five generations give the Grenache Noir and the Mourvèdre grapes their unique characteristics in La Tamardière. Intense purple colour. On the nose, notes of ripe red berries (blackberry, blackcurrant). Spicy powerful in the mouth, flavours of fruits and vanilla with notes of wood, nice tannins and a good length.
Service: Should be brought to room temperature (16-18°C). Is perfect to furred and feathered game.
