Winemaker and winery: Viticulture has a long tradition in the Davault family. In 1899, Alexis Davault bought a part of the estate, which had existed since the early Middle Ages. Today it is run by the sixth generation, Christophe Davault. Mainly white wines are produced, but also red and sparkling wines.
Tasting notes: This wine was made in one year's work and with much care according to the champagne method. In Touraine, it is called a "delicate" brut because of its pleasant smoothness in the mouth.
