It is a masterfully composed selection of Cognacs aged an average of 25 years in oak barrels. Prepare to experience an incredibly rich tapestry of flavors with a bold and complex profile.
Producer: The House of Godet traces its origins back to Bonaventure Godet, a Dutch merchant who settled in La Rochelle in the 16th century. Taking advantage of its strategic location on the Atlantic coast, he began exporting wine and salt. To better preserve the wines, he had them distilled—giving birth to Cognac. This innovation quickly gained favor, even among royalty.
Today, five centuries later, the Godet brothers—Jean-Édouard, Maxime, and Cyril—carry on the family tradition in its 15th generation. While most modern Cognacs are primarily made from the juice of the Ugni Blanc grape, Godet takes a different path, focusing on rare grape varieties such as Folle Blanche, Montils, and Colombard to create unique compositions.
Tasting Notes, Color: Dark amber, Aroma: Subtle notes of jasmine and violet, Palate: Backed by flavors of prune, honey, and Russian leather, the palate is enriched with aromatic subtlety and a deep Rancio character, perfectly balanced.
