An explosion of flavour on the nose, a frank attack and a beautiful freshness on the palate which continues with a persistent length.
Maturing in oak barrels is an ancestral know-how that inspires the Jacoulot style: an immense aromatic complexity associated with great finesse. This House expertise is reflected in this original maturing of a rum distilled on the island of Reunion and aged in Fine de Bourgogne barrels.
Although not Burgundian, rum is an integral part of Jacoulot's history and culture. The first purchases date back to 1944, the year in which the marcs of Burgundy were requisitioned.
Warm, elegant and gourmet, you can drink it as an aperitif or digestive.
