General description
The 2014 Château Pontet-Canet is a red wine from the Pauillac appellation, categorised as a 5ᵉ Grand Cru in the 1855 classification. The winery, which is run by the Tesseron family, has been cultivating its vineyards biodynamically since 2010 and was awarded Demeter certification in 2014. This environmentally conscious approach is reflected in the exceptional quality of the wine.

Nose and mouth
The nose is elegant and complex, offering aromas of ripe black fruits such as cassis and blackberry, accompanied by notes of cedar wood, liquorice and mocha. On the palate, the attack is soft and velvety, with a dense texture and fine tannins. The structure is balanced and the finish is long and persistent, characterised by a beautiful freshness.
