Château Poujeaux is a wine estate located in Moulis-en-Médoc, in the Médoc region. The 2012 vintage is made from a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot and 5% Cabernet Franc. 

Wine Tasting Profile

    - Colour : Intense ruby red.

    - Nose : Complex aromas of ripe black fruit (blackcurrant, blackberry), black cherry, accompanied by spicy notes, liquorice and a touch of wood.

    - Palate: Supple and round on the palate, with a fine, silky tannic structure. The balance between acidity and fruit is remarkable, offering a velvety texture and good length.

    - Finish: Persistent, with hints of dark chocolate and toasted wood.
