Domaine Arnoux Père et Fils, Chorey Les Beaune 2022
(€45.20 L)
Elegant and round wine with well-balanced tannins; to be served with delicate and light food.
Winemaker and vinery: Vinery and winemaker: The vines are cultivated using sustainable methods, then harvested by hand. The grapes are from the vineyard's own harvest. Aged in oak barrels for several months, it was bottled at the property. The village of Chorey-lès-Beaune is situated just at the north of Beaune and at the level of Savigny. The domaine cultivates many plots of different ages, accounting for a total surface of more than 8 hectares.
Tasting: Bright red colour; it is a light and supple wine dominated by small red fruits as raspberry and Morello cherry. The generous and ample mouth appears to be both delicate and long. Elegant and round wine with well-balanced tannins.
Service: It can be served young or mature; it will join the group of all great Burgundies. Served in large-sided glasses, it will deliver intense aromas, as the shape of the container is favourable to its development. It has to be served with delicate and light food as roast poultry, grilled meat or meat in sauce. Soft cheeses are also good partners.
