Calvados Le Père Jules Pays d'Auge 40 ans
Calvados Le Père Jules is an AOC Pays d'Auge Calvados aged for 40 years in oak barrels, produced by the Desfrièches family in Saint-Désir, Normandy. Since 1919, the distillery has been perpetuating the traditional know-how passed down through four generations. This Calvados is the fruit of traditional distillation in a Charentais still, followed by prolonged ageing to give it an incomparable aromatic richness.
Tasting
- Colour: Deep amber with golden highlights.
- Nose: Complex aromas of baked apples, noble wood, vanilla and sweet spices.
- Palate: Round and elegant, with a velvety texture and remarkable persistence.

Serving suggestions
