Château de Millet Bas-Armagnac 1989 is an exceptional eau-de-vie from the Bas-Armagnac terroir in the Gers region of Gascony. This vintage is the fruit of the expertise of the Dèche family, who have been making Armagnac for several generations.
Estate and terroir
The estate is located in Eauze, in the historic heart of the Armagnac region. It covers 80 hectares, 25 of which are devoted exclusively to vines for the production of Armagnac. The soils are composed of tawny sand and sandy-clay, typical of the Bas-Armagnac region, renowned for bringing finesse and elegance to the eaux-de-vie.
Tasting notes
- Colour: Attractive amber colour with orange highlights.
- Nose: Elegant aromas of dried fruit (prunes, figs), sweet spices and hints of wood.
- Palate: Supple and full on the palate, with notes of caramel, ripe fruit and a subtle spiciness.
