Elegant sweet wine with honey and candied fruit, rich palate, long and fresh finish.
Château de Malle 2005 is a sweet white wine from the Sauternes appellation, classified as a 2nd Grand Cru Classé in 1855. The estate, located in Preignac, is owned by the Comtes de Bournazel family, direct descendants of Jacques de Malle, a 17th-century president of the Bordeaux Parliament.

This vintage has a deep golden color. The expressive nose reveals complex aromas of honey, candied apricot, white flowers, blood orange, and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, it is rich and creamy, with well-balanced freshness to offset the sweetness. Flavors of candied fruit, mandarin, and honey lead to a long, elegant, and harmonious finish.
Now at its peak, this wine can age gracefully until 2034.
Excellent with foie gras, blue cheeses (like Roquefort), exotic fruit-based desserts, or traditional French cakes like gâteau nantais.
