Domaine Michel Noëllat, located in the heart of the Côte de Nuits in Vosne-Romanée, is run by the sixth generation of the Noëllat family: Sébastien Noëllat in the vineyard and cellar, and Sophie Noëllat-Sirugue in marketing. The estate covers 27 hectares spread over around a hundred plots, with an average age of the vines of between 60 and 70 years. The soils are mainly clay-limestone, benefiting from an east-south-east exposure at an altitude of between 220 and 340 metres.

Tasting notes

Colour: Deep, luminous red with garnet highlights, a sign of its concentration and quality.

Nose: A rich, nuanced bouquet of ripe black fruit, flowers, spices and a subtle woody note.

Palate: Rich, elegant attack, with flavours of cherry, raspberry and plum intermixed with hints of tobacco, leather and sweet spices, with a lingering finish that underlines its complexity.

Ageing

The wine is carefully aged in oak barrels, giving the wine its finesse, structure and complex aromatic palette, respecting the expression of the terroir and the grape variety.

This Vosne-Romanée 2022 has an ageing potential of 8 to 12 years, allowing the wine to develop and fully express its
