Complex aromas of ripe fruits and spices; a perfect match with meat in sauce.
Winemaker and vineyard: A family estate for 6 generations in Châteauneuf du Pape. Today, Serge runs the estate with his niece Laetitia. The range includes Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Lirac, Côte du Rhône and French wines. Since 2020, the vineyard is certified HVE (High Environmental Value) and is naturally moving towards organic farming.
Tasting: Ruby color, purplish reflections. The first nose reveals aromas of blueberry jam then blackcurrant, black fruits enhanced with a minty note. The palate is straight, compact and mineral on a smoky finish.
Service: Ripe rib of beef, Sirloin steak with shallots. Wine for aging: 5-15 years.
