A very well-balanced vintage, straightforward without being austere.
Winemaker and Vineyard: Stephan Heurlier is an independent winemaker and practices sustainable agriculture on an ancient vineyard that dates back to the early 17th century. His goal is to highlight the qualities of his terroir at Château Tour de Guiet. Through rigorous parcel selection, meticulous vinifications, and fine blending, he produces authentic wines that are richer, more complex, and harmonious.
Tasting: A very balanced cuvée, upright without being austere. It releases its aromas of ripe red fruits and roasted notes inherited from sixteen months of aging in barrels. With a fresh attack, it fills the palate with its round texture up to a spicy finish. The tannins will continue to soften over time.
Service: Serve at room temperature (16-18°C) to accompany lemon-marinated chicken skewers.
