Spicy, structured, dark fruits, fine tannins, great aging potential.
Château Cantenac Brown 2012 is a powerful, elegant Margaux made from a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Merlot. It seduces with its intense aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, fig, liquorice and floral notes. The palate is rich, concentrated and structured, with present but well-integrated tannins. The wine has a fine persistence on the finish, with notes of smoked bacon, spices and a mineral/graphite touch.
Although young, it shows good ageing potential (2023 to 2040), with good intensity and well-dosed ripeness.
