Medium to full-bodied, the palate is bursting with juicy black fruit flavours, framed by accessible, ripe, grainy tannins, finishing pleasantly earthy.
This cuvée comes from a selection of two plots planted with Grenache, one in 1900 "Charbonnières", the other in 1949 "Esqueirons".
Balanced, subtle nose with aromas of blackberry and bramble. Smooth, rich and concentrated on the palate. A fairly massive wine, with powerful but soft tannins.
The robe is silky with a beautiful cherry red colour. The nose is very expressive and concentrated, slightly sweet and woody, with a mixture of red fruit aromas.
Ruby red color, very fruity with notes of red fruits (raspberry, cherry), full-bodied, velvety and elegant; with steaks and potatoes, meatballs or aubergine lasagne.
Blackberry, black fruit, spicy palate, ripe fruit, round, soft, supple, plum and spice finish
Gentle, dark, small berried-fruit, blackberry more than cassis. Hint of cedar. Taut and firm but not dry. Embryonic rather than dry tannins. Long, fresh, juicy finish.
