Fresh and fruity on the palate, but firm, with a soft, fleshy texture. Beautiful balance.
Medium to deep garnet-purple color, fragrant scents of redcurrant jelly, Morello cherries, plum preserves and fresh blackcurrants, suggestions of red roses, cedar chest and pencil lead.
Deep garnet-purple colored, scented of earth, herbs, warm plums and cassis with tar hints. The palate is medium to full-bodied, firm and grainy with a lively backbone and savory finish.
Dense purple, sweet notes of underbrush, forest floor, licorice, black currants and a hint of lead pencil followed by a lush, ripe, surprisingly fleshy and succulent wine.
This is one of the best second wines of the Médoc. Like its elder, this is a classic, elegant wine, with a clear, well-designed structure and a long, fresh final.
Complex aromas of ripe fruits and spices; a perfect match with meat in sauce.
