Château Montrose 2011 is an exceptional red wine from the Saint-Estèphe appellation, classified 2ᵉ Grand Cru Classé in 1855. This vintage embodies the elegance and power characteristic of Montrose. The blend comprises 63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot. Harvesting took place between 2 and 27 September 2011. The wine was matured in 50% new barrels and 50% 1st and 2nd wine barrels for 19 months.
