Château Potensac - 2019

Origin : Médoc, Bordeaux, France

Type : Red wine

Grape varieties : Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot

Surface : Approximately 33 hectares

Tasting Notes

Colour: Deep, intense ruby red.

Nose: Clean, pure aromatic expression, marked by notes of red and black fruit (raspberry, blackcurrant), accompanied by hints of spice, undergrowth and light toasty touches from the ageing process.

Palate: Straightforward attack, with tannins that are present but elegant. The wine is beautifully fruity, with a harmonious balance between power and freshness, and a solid tannic structure. The finish is persistent, with slightly spicy aromas and well-maintained freshness.

Suggested pairings

Perfect with grilled or roasted red meats, such as steak au poivre, roast beef or leg of lamb. It also goes well with traditional dishes such as boeuf bourguignon, daube provençale or wild boar stew. As a side dish, try roasted root vegetables or sautéed mushrooms to complement its rich aromas.
