This is one of the best second wines of the Médoc. Like its elder, this is a classic, elegant wine, with a clear, well-designed structure and a long, fresh final.
Balanced on the palate, pleasant freshness, floral notes; pairs well with cheese.
The robe is silky with a beautiful cherry red colour. The nose is very expressive and concentrated, slightly sweet and woody, with a mixture of red fruit aromas, morello cherry.
Palate medium-bodied with fine tannin and good body. Sappy black fruit, a touch of spice towards the finish, and you have yourself a very fine Côtes de Castillon.
Round, concentrated, fine tannins, red berries, cocoa; pairs well with mushroom tart.
Excellent style, full body for the category, perfect Saint-Julien worthy of its origin, to be treated like a great wine.
Respecting the traditional style of Collioure and with its delicate farming in tapered tanks, Magenca is delicate and elegant with tannins present but melted.
