A homogeneous, well-balanced wine.
Palate medium-bodied with fine tannin and good body. Sappy black fruit, a touch of spice towards the finish, and you have yourself a very fine Côtes de Castillon
A deep garnet-purple colour, with a meaty, earthy nose of plums and blackberries and hints of eucalyptus and aniseed. Light, mellow structure with an earthy finish.
Elegant, powerful, well-balanced – ideal with beef tenderloin, lamb and aged hard cheese.
