Produced from a remarkable Bordeaux vintage, La Dame de Montrose 2015 illustrates the rigorous selection and expertise of Château Montrose, Second Grand Cru Classé. Made from the estate's young vines, this wine benefits from the same winemaking standards as the grand vin, offering a faithful expression of the Saint-Estèphe terroir with a more accessible approach.

Appellation: Saint-Estèphe AOC

Blend: 55% Merlot, 41% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Petit Verdot

Maturation: 12 months in French oak barrels, 30% of which are new

Alcohol content: Around 13.5

Tasting notes :

Colour : Deep red with garnet tints

Nose : Complex and expressive, marked by black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry), black cherry, sweet spices, fine woody notes and a touch of light tobacco

Palate : Supple attack, elegant structure, fine, coated tannins, well-integrated freshness, long finish with mineral and slightly smoky accents.
