Château La Dournie
Between the wine regions Minervois and Faugères there's another AOP with 3100 ha of vineyards, situated in the département of Hérault, Saint-Chinian being center of the wine region. Véronique Étienne, our winemaker of Château La Dournie, fell in love with this region, as her ancestors did.
From its beginnings in 1870 to now they preserved the tradition of transmitting guidance from mother to daughter.
On 45 ha Véronique cultivates 12 different kinds of grape, among others, 25 % Syrah, 20 % Merlot, 11 % Caabernet Sauvignon and 10 % Grenache.
The vineyard is a certified organic grower and produces elegant wines with a high degree of finesse!
