Domaine Fernand Engel is very aware of Altenberg Grand Cru's potential and grows some hectares of vineyard planted with gewurztraminer. Using these grapes they produce a wine that is unsurpassed in its power and racy style. It's carakter reminds a bit the late vintages of the same domaine, presenting itself with light botrytis aroma. At the same time this wine is very fresh and its aromas of candied fruits and almond are very enchanting!
