Dona Baissas
During the state cadastral registrations ordered by Napoleon Bonaparte, his soldiers wer surprised to discover a vineyard run by a woman and registered it as "Mas de la Dona" (catalan: "Mas de la femme"). The vineyard is in the hands of family Baissas since 1817. It comprises an area of 76 ha in the Têt and Agly valley. Vincent Baissas leads the domaine since 2008. The Rivesaltes offered by us is one of the best of its kind. The bright ambré is made out of Grenache gris and Maccabeo, whereas the tuilé is a 100 % Grenache noir. v
