Domaine Fernand Engel
You see in this video the winemaker of the artisanal and family business Fernand Engel who explains how to measure the right veraison which corresponds to an adequate sugar level. He takes us to the production cellar with all the facilities for vinification and ageing. Domaine Fernand Engel is the biggest family-operated winemaker of Alsace that is run with environmentally friendly and not certified biodynamic methods. They produce wonderful white wines from Riesling, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer which are also available as late vintage wines. Additionaly to that they also produce red wines from Pinot Noir.
