Château de Millet

Château de Millet in Eauze- regional capital of Gascogne - is known for its Bas-Armagnac brandies from the beginning. Laurence, daughter of Francis and Lydie Dèche, runs the vineyard of 86 hectares in total. She represents the 5th generation of real adepts of the field.

In order to manufacture the Armagnac, white wine is distilled once (whereas the Cognac brandy is distilled in two sessions!). Afterwards the destillat comes into the typical Gascognese oak barrells.

A part of the Bas-Armagnac production goes into the manufacturing process of Floc de Gascogne, a mix of grape juice (Ugni Blanc, Colombard, Gros Manseng) and Bas-Armagnac.
