Rooted in Northern French charcuterie heritage, these Rillettes de porc from Conserverie St Christophe offer a hearty and generous pure pork taste.
Origin and Raw Materials : Produced in Argoules near the Somme Bay in Northern France, this traditional recipe features select French pork meat and fat. Salt, pepper, and natural herbs complement this clean, authentic formulation.
Producer : Founded in 1990 by Éric Van Oost, Conserverie St Christophe is a renowned artisanal workshop in the Hauts-de-France region. The family-run business preserves traditional French charcuterie methods with passion and local expertise.
Manufacturing : Selected pork cuts are gently simmered over low heat for several hours. Once tender, the meat is shredded manually to preserve its long natural fibers, then seasoned without adding any artificial preservatives, colorings, or additives.
Tasting : The texture presents visible, delicate meat fibers with a smooth spreadable consistency. On the nose, comforting aromas of slow-roasted pork and subtle spices emerge. On the palate, it feels rich and silky, offering a well-rounded savory flavor.
Tasting Advice & Storage : Serve chilled at 8 to 10 degrees Celsius alongside toasted sourdough bread, paired with crisp gherkins or whole-grain mustard. Perfectly paired with medium-bodied red wines from Bordeaux or crisp dry whites from the Val de Loire category. Refrigerate after opening and consume within 2 to 3 days.
Awards & Environmental Certifications : Made exclusively with 100% French pork. Produced under strict HACCP safety standards, free from preservatives, artificial flavors, and GMOs.
